Lately in the news we have heard about Muslim police women who want to wear hijab on duty. This case has created huge debates in the media. Some believe that they should be allowed, but others are strongly opposed.
I believe that every single police officer should be neutral, so that the arrests and the cases not are being influenced by religion, political views etc. Imagine that a Muslim woman wearing a hijab arrest a Jew. Because of the conflict in Israel and Gaza, this will create major rebellion, also here in Norway.
- What do you think is right? Should Muslim women wear hijab on duty?

I think the hijab issue is unnecessary and exaggerated.
I think that the hijab should be illegal to use if you are police.
If you are going to be police should learn and do not use the hijab. if it is so important with the hijab, they can just not be the police.

I think the police uniform should not be whit any political or religious symbols,just on principle.
If this political proposing should be verified more “suggestions” would folow. Than if the government not verifies to use the proposed symbol the group would feel less worth than the group or groups that have their symbol on the uniform, all this result to civil unrest and numerous demonstrations, placing the government in a difficult position.
So I’m glad the government don’t have verified the use of hijab in the Norwegian police corps.
